What we do and why?

We are Chris and Erika Davis. We have owned a general contracting company for the last 15 years. We have also experienced many of the growing pains that many small businesses and contractors face. We realized that one of the biggest challenges for a growing, small businesses is finding time to do computer work and send out written estimates after spending the day in the field. Jobs are often won or lost at this stage. We have written thousands of winning proposals and can help your company win big as well. That is why we started Proposal Pros.

Erika

Erika grew up in a family of contractors. She gained experience in her father’s company, both in the field, and running the office. She is an expert in organization and administration, with a strong background in sales and executive level management. When she isn’t working, Erika enjoys traveling and spending time with her Great Dane, Zodiac.

Chris

Chris is a licensed general contractor and entrepreneur with nearly 20 years of business experience. Chris has a strong background in sales and business development. He has a passion for small business and entrepreneurship. When he isn’t working, Chris enjoys playing sand volleyball and traveling.

Zodiac!

Zodiac has extensive experience in customer service, drooling, and playing. When she isn’t helping Mom & Dad in the office or the field, she likes to spend her time chasing bunnies, plotting against squirrels, and napping. Zodiac recently graduated from the European Great Dane University of Denver majoring in naps and cuddling.

Who Do You Work With?

Proposal Pros is tailored to work with small business owners in the construction, landscape and trade industries. Most of our companies have between 1-15 employees, but don’t have the need or budget for full-time office staff.

Why Should We Work With Proposal Pros?

A written estimate is a cornerstone of the sales process and sets the professional tone moving forward. If you can quickly provide customers with a professional, written estimate while they are still excited, you will win more jobs. We ensure that your written quotes are sent out within 24 – 48hrs of your initial meeting. In addition to closing more jobs, you won’t have to spend your evenings working on the computer, or risk losing valuable jobs because a competitor closed the deal before you.

How Does The Process Work?

You will go on your sales appointments and price out the project just like you always have. We will provide you with a template to take notes on that is branded with your company logo, and customized for your unique business. This template is straight forward and is used to help organize the meeting notes in a way that we can create your written estimate in a line-item format. Simply send us a picture of your hand written meeting notes and details that you would like us to highlight, and we will take it from there. It can be as simple as a picture message from your phone. The proposal is created and sent out from your own QuickBooks account (We use an administrator password and do not need to see any of your financials or private information). This allows the client to receive their written estimate directly from your email and will also allow replies to come back to you directly. This way you will also have the client’s lead information digitally recorded as well as the original estimate, which can easily be converted to an invoice when the time comes.
